My breath scorches my mouth
These hellish dreams,
they are tormenting me

An undying inferno rages in my veins

This immolation will purify

As blistering temples cool
My body has been reduced to ash
Focus returns to waiting eyes
Distancing my awareness from misery

Relinquish this misery from my heated brow
Not unlike a threshold of pain
Return to a state of perception,
